Some mom's document baby's first smile, first coo, first full night of sleep. Well, I'm terrible at remembering to write these things down. I do know that this week she had her first tear while crying. Nearly broke my heart. Her first smile? That was very early on. When my mom was here helping us after Q's birth she said Quincy was like me... "born with a smile."
While I've been awful about recording dates thus far, I'm turning over a new leaf (at least for this post). Here were yesterday's firsts: First day at the baseball field (Seth's helping coach a Little League team--more on this to come), first hike, first time throwing sticks for Max into the water, and first stake conference. Whew. It was a good Saturday! Here are the photos from our hike up St. Joseph's Hill, overlooking Lexington Reservoir. It was a fantastic day for a hike. Clear sky and temperatures in the high 60's/low 70's. Q did what she does best for most of the hike. Slept. Who could blame her? She was snuggled up to her daddy the whole time.
ah those first tears will get you!!! So heartbreaking. And we LOVE our Ergo baby. Joshy pretty muched lived in ours up until he was 3 months old
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun day of firsts! You have a beautiful little family Leia. Corbin pulled out the blanket you made for him the other day and loved it. Hope everything is going great!
