Some things never change

Here's the scene: I'm in the bathroom at church changing Quincy's diaper (which happens to be her first "blowout" on her brand new dress). A lady that I don't know comes out of a stall and starts washing her hands.

Lady washing her hands: Do you take care of her?

Me: (baffled) Uhhh, yes.

Lady drying her hands: (incredulously) Are you the mother?!

Me: (uneasy giggle) Um, yes.

Lady: (shock fills her face) But you are too young!!

I guess having a baby doesn't change quite everything.

  1. ok, Q is literally too cute!!!! I'm dying over those pictures! And seriously, some things never change. I am surprised that someone at church said that though! usually they're used to see young mothers. Whatever, you are young and fabulous.
