| People meeting me STILL don't think I look pregnant. #*#&#! I'll admit, the outfits I choose for pictures probably emphasize the belly. But still. You think my stomach just naturally juts out like this? |
On our way to take the prego picture at a little park near our apartment we passed a couple of antique suitcases on the side of the road with a "FREE" sign. At Seth's suggestion we stopped and snagged a really neat brown Samsonite one (that now sits with a blue one that I've had as decoration in our family room). Then, this morning I woke up and did my daily check of Etsy... and what's on the front page? The EXACT same one...for forty big ones! Good find to the Hubs!
(Note: You might be wondering why I'm always dressed up in these pictures. Which is totally against my number one fashion rule -- comfort. No. I don't wear a skirt every day. I don't even wear a skirt for a full day every week. It's more like four hours on Sunday. It just so happens that my week benchmarks fall on Sunday, so you get to see my polished church-going outfit instead of the plain Jane (or is it Tarzan meets Jane?) outfits I usually sport.)
You are so adorable it's sick!! You look fabulous Leia! So happy for you guys and can't wait to see the baby bump in person soon! And regarding the suitcases.... great find -you are your mother's daughter huh?? I will admit though, they do make great decor in the house! Take care!

ReplyDeleteI also rejoice when we get an overcast day or a little bit of rain. You'd think I'd love living in Hawaii where it is summer every single day all year long, but I most definitely miss the four seasons. Also love the suitcase!
Leia you are so cute! I got one of those, "You are so tiny! Where's the baby?" comment just last week. Really, people? Really? Ah. I feel you and your frustration haha. I think you look adorably pregnant :) Hope the West Coast is treating you well!
