Momentous baby moment this week: Seth could feel the baby kicking! I've felt her (or thought I've felt her) jamming away in there for about 2 weeks now, but it was all the more reassurance that I wasn't imagining it when Seth put his hand on my stomach and felt a definite kick. His face was priceless. He was so excited (and Seth typically lacks the ability to show that general emotion). We were in the middle of our amazement that there really is a little girl in there... and then we both SAW it. We could SEE her kicking and both just lost it. THAT is a weird thing to see on yourself. She put on a good active kicking show for us that night -- so fun. And we're SO excited! Let's just fast forward 4 1/2 months please :)
I've already said it but I'll say it again because it's true... You look so cute pregnant! It is so fun feeling them kick for the first few times (until they get so big it starts to get quite painful!). I agree, it is so weird to see on yourself- yet so exciting! I'm excited for these 4 1/2 months to pass too!

ReplyDeleteIsn't kicking the BEST? Well...like Kari said. It's fun at first until it starts to kill. Just wait til you're about 8 months in and you'll see her rolling around and you'll see feet and elbows and knees jabbing out at you. It is SO crazy! Enjoy- I am SO excited for you :) :)
